We edit down the clips to the bare essentials that play over and over on all the screens — the headshots, the motherless children, the maniacs, the ghosts. Make people proud of this country by painting all the other options in red. Make them worry that if they fall behind, they’ll wake up in the Third World. I can’t wait for dawn.
